rupalee concept evolved and expressed through rupalee's motto, "Fair Trade with Style", to build upon traditional methods and designs, to encourage innate creativity of the traditional village craftswomen.
Soon folks at Martha Stewart, Barneys of New York, Kate Spade, Smith and Hawken, Free People, Urban Outfitters, Didi of Netherlands, and Classy intitutions like Art Institute of Chicago, London's Victoria and Albert Museum, National Cathedral in Washington take interest.
These are unimaginable places to craftswomen in their villages, some of whom sign their work with their thumb print.
